Andhra Pradesh Contract Employees Demand Regularisation, Threaten March to Assembly

Contract and outsourcing employees in Andhra Pradesh staged a protest in Visakhapatnam demanding regularisation of services and equal pay for equal work. A.V. Nageswara Rao, honorary chairman of the AP Contract and Outsourcing Employees, Teachers and Workers JAC, urged the government to regularise employees who have been working for years. He warned that three lakh employees would march to the Assembly if the government fails to act. The JAC also announced phased protests across the state, with employees from health, education, and municipal sectors participating.

आंध्र प्रदेश में संविदा और आउटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारियों ने विशाखापत्तनम में अपनी सेवाओं को नियमित करने और समान काम के लिए समान वेतन की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। एपी संविदा और आउटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारी, शिक्षक और श्रमिक JAC के मानद अध्यक्ष ए.वी. नागेश्वर राव ने सरकार से वर्षों से काम कर रहे कर्मचारियों को नियमित करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि सरकार ने कार्रवाई नहीं की तो तीन लाख कर्मचारी विधानसभा तक मार्च करेंगे। JAC ने राज्य भर में चरणबद्ध विरोध प्रदर्शनों की भी घोषणा की, जिसमें स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा और नगर निगम क्षेत्रों के कर्मचारी भाग लेंगे।
