Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed that Ukraine destroyed four Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers and damaged two others in an overnight strike on the Borisoglebsk airfield in Russia’s Voronezh region. He stated the attack was carried out using a Neptune missile, with the aircraft loaded with aerial bombs and ready for new attacks. Ukraine’s military general staff confirmed varying degrees of damage to all six aircraft. Zelenskyy also reported strikes on a drone facility in Russia’s Oryol region and a target in the Black Sea, calling them justified responses to Russian terror.
