CGHS will now cover dependent widowed and divorced daughters even after the death of the government employee or pensioner. The Health Ministry has allowed eligible daughters to be added or reinstated to cards held by family pensioners, providing crucial medical support. The benefit requires verification of marital status, income, and dependency, with all other CGHS eligibility conditions remaining applicable.

CGHS अब सरकारी कर्मचारी या पेंशनर की मृत्यु के बाद भी आश्रित विधवा और तलाकशुदा बेटियों को कवर करेगा। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने योग्य बेटियों को फैमिली पेंशनरों के कार्ड में जुड़ने या फिर से शामिल होने की अनुमति दी है, जिससे महत्वपूर्ण चिकित्सा सहायता मिलेगी। यह कदम उन पेंशनरों की कठिनाइयों को दूर करता है जो बिना किसी स्वतंत्र आय वाली बेटियों का भरण-पोषण करते हैं, खासकर गंभीर चिकित्सा स्थितियों वाली। इस लाभ के लिए वैवाहिक स्थिति, आय और निर्भरता का सत्यापन आवश्यक होगा, जबकि CGHS की अन्य सभी पात्रता शर्तें लागू रहेंगी।
