The International Olympic Committee has confirmed seven interested parties for the 2036 Summer Olympics, including India, Germany, Qatar, South Korea, South Africa, Türkiye, and Hungary. The process is currently in the dialogue stage, with shortlisted bids expected in March 2027 and the final host announced in mid-2029. Germany's candidate is Munich, South Korea is considering a project involving Jeonju and Seoul, and Qatar is centering its bid on Doha.
