INDIA bloc rally at Ramlila Maidan to face 18% GST on booking charges

The INDIA bloc is planning a major rally and 'Chalo Dilli' march at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on November 1. Booking the venue for a day incurs charges of ₹1,21,080, which includes an 18% Goods and Services Tax. These costs cover ground rent, security, sanitation, and licence fees. Separately, Delhi Police reported that no permission was sought for Rahul Gandhi's proposed march from Connaught Place, though permission was granted for the rally itself at Ramlila Maidan.
