Yogi Adityanath Attacks Congress Over 1975 Emergency Rule

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Congress party's imposition of the Emergency in 1975, stating it demonstrated the difference between the rule of law and the ruler of law. Speaking at a law university convocation, he highlighted that the Emergency was declared just 13 days after the Allahabad High Court annulled the election of the then Prime Minister. Adityanath urged young legal professionals to uphold constitutional values and protect justice.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने 1975 में कांग्रेस द्वारा लगाई गई इमरजेंसी की आलोचना की और कहा कि इससे कानून के शासन और शासक के शासन के बीच का अंतर पता चलता है। एक लॉ यूनिवर्सिटी के दीक्षांत समारोह में बोलते हुए, उन्होंने बताया कि इमरजेंसी की घोषणा इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट द्वारा तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री का चुनाव रद्द किए जाने के ठीक 13 दिन बाद की गई थी। आदित्यनाथ ने युवा कानूनी पेशेवरों से संवैधानिक मूल्यों को बनाए रखने और न्याय की रक्षा करने का आग्रह किया।
