Cuba Restores Power After Nationwide Blackout

Cuba is working to restore electricity after a major nationwide blackout left much of the country in darkness. Union Electrica reported that nearly half of Havana's customers had power back by Saturday. The collapse, attributed to high-voltage transmission line failures and unstable weather, is at least the sixth outage this year. Years of aging infrastructure and fuel shortages have worsened, with the US imposing an energy blockade in January.
