A shocking incident has come to light from the SNCU ward of Ashoknagar District Hospital in Madhya Pradesh, where a newborn baby, just a day old, was murdered by strangulation. The post-mortem report confirmed that the baby's throat was choked. The deceased infant was the third daughter of her family. The baby was born to Bhavna from Sakra village and was shifted to the SNCU. Doctors declared her dead after her condition worsened.
