Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated he is ready to organize elections if Russian President Vladimir Putin agrees to a 60-day ceasefire. Zelenskyy also indicated Kyiv's willingness to halt attacks on Russian oil refineries if Moscow stops striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure. This proposal comes in response to criticism regarding Ukraine's leadership and its continued strikes on Russian refineries. Ukraine's martial law currently prohibits holding elections, and Zelenskyy maintains that any concessions must be reciprocal and include credible security guarantees from Russia.

यूक्रेन के राष्ट्रपति वोलोडिमिर ज़ेलेंस्की ने कहा है कि अगर रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन 60 दिन के युद्धविराम पर सहमत होते हैं तो वह चुनाव कराने के लिए तैयार हैं। ज़ेलेंस्की ने यह भी संकेत दिया कि अगर मॉस्को यूक्रेन के ऊर्जा ढांचे पर हमला बंद कर देता है तो कीव रूसी तेल रिफाइनरियों पर हमले रोकने को तैयार है। यह प्रस्ताव यूक्रेन के नेतृत्व और रूसी रिफाइनरियों पर लगातार हमलों को लेकर हुई आलोचनाओं के जवाब में आया है। यूक्रेन के मार्शल लॉ के तहत फिलहाल चुनाव कराने पर रोक है, और ज़ेलेंस्की का कहना है कि कोई भी रियायत आपसी होनी चाहिए और इसमें रूस से भरोसेमंद सुरक्षा गारंटी शामिल होनी चाहिए।
