Delhi Police has designated three new locations for protests, replacing Jantar Mantar as a protest site. This decision follows a recommendation from a committee formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The new sites are Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground, and the CBD Ground in East Delhi. This move aims to provide alternative venues for citizens to exercise their right to protest. The Supreme Court had previously called for designated spaces for demonstrations.
