New York-based generative voice AI firm ElevenLabs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society. The partnership aims to boost the adoption of voice AI in Kannada across various sectors, including citizen services and grievance redressal. It also focuses on responsible AI development and voice restoration initiatives. India is ElevenLabs' second-largest market, with businesses recording 100 million conversations on its platform last year, primarily in Indian languages.
