बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने एक डेवलपर के खिलाफ आर्थिक अपराध शाखा (EOW) द्वारा आगे की जांच के मजिस्ट्रेट के आदेश को रद्द कर दिया है। जस्टिस शिवकुमार दिगे ने कहा कि मजिस्ट्रेट का आदेश बिना किसी ठोस कारण के केवल अनुमानों पर आधारित था। कोर्ट ने EOW की क्लोजर रिपोर्ट को स्वीकार करते हुए पाया कि कोई अपराध नहीं बनता है। डेवलपर ने एक विरोध याचिका पर आदेश को चुनौती दी थी, और कोर्ट ने नोट किया कि दो स्वतंत्र एजेंसियों ने पहले ही क्लोजर रिपोर्ट दाखिल कर दी थी। जज ने शिकायतकर्ता के ब्लैकमेलर होने की संभावना पर भी टिप्पणी की।
