A 56-year-old woman, Lalita Devi, who was declared dead by doctors at a private hospital in Gorakhpur, began coughing as her family prepared for her last rites. Her family had taken her to the hospital after a week-long fever, and doctors had suspected a brain hemorrhage. After being told she was dead, the family began funeral preparations. As tulsi water was poured into her mouth, she started coughing, shocking everyone. She has now been admitted to BRD Medical College for treatment.
