A challenging 32-hour operation successfully neutralised a formalin spill on Lucknow's Kisan Path early Wednesday morning. The chemical tanker had overturned Monday evening due to a tyre burst, causing irritation and breathing discomfort to residents and commuters. The containment efforts were complicated by the chemical's effects resurfacing when disturbed. Authorities collaborated with the NDRF, SDRF, and the UP Pollution Control Board, and a Kanpur-based facility was engaged for the safe disposal of contaminated materials. The affected road stretch remained closed during the extensive relief operation.

लखनऊ के किसान पथ पर फॉर्मेलिन के रिसाव को बुधवार तड़के एक चुनौतीपूर्ण 32 घंटे के ऑपरेशन के बाद सफलतापूर्वक नियंत्रित कर लिया गया। सोमवार शाम को टायर फटने के कारण केमिकल टैंकर पलट गया था, जिससे निवासियों और यात्रियों को जलन और सांस लेने में तकलीफ हुई। रसायन के हिलने पर फिर से उभरने वाले प्रभावों के कारण रोकथाम के प्रयासों में जटिलताएँ आईं। अधिकारियों ने NDRF, SDRF और UP प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के साथ मिलकर काम किया, और दूषित सामग्री के सुरक्षित निपटान के लिए कानपुर की एक सुविधा को लगाया गया। राहत अभियान के दौरान प्रभावित सड़क खंड को बंद रखा गया था।
