Truck Kills Scooter Rider on NH-8 Service Road; Driver Flees

A man was killed in a hit-and-run incident on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway service road near Pachgaon Chowk early Thursday morning. The victim, Gajender, was riding his scooter with a friend, Sachin, when a speeding truck allegedly hit them from the opposite direction. The truck ran over Gajender's head, causing his immediate death, while Sachin escaped with minor injuries. The truck driver fled the scene before the registration number could be noted. Police have registered an FIR and are investigating to identify the truck and its driver.

दिल्ली-गुरुग्राम एक्सप्रेसवे पर पचगांव चौक के पास सर्विस रोड पर गुरुवार तड़के एक सड़क हादसे में एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई। मृतक गजेन्द्र अपने दोस्त सचिन के साथ स्कूटर पर जा रहा था, तभी सामने से आ रहे एक तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने उन्हें टक्कर मार दी। ट्रक गजेन्द्र के सिर पर चढ़ गया, जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि सचिन को मामूली चोटें आईं। ट्रक चालक रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर नोट किए जाने से पहले ही मौके से फरार हो गया। पुलिस ने एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली है और ट्रक व उसके चालक की पहचान के लिए जांच कर रही है।
