NDTV · india

Despite India's ambitious Swacch Bharat Mission, a significant blind spot remains in managing the vast quantities of waste generated. The initiative, while successful in promoting sanitation, has not adequately addressed the critical issue of waste processing and disposal. This oversight leads to mountains of unmanaged garbage, undermining the overall goals of cleanliness and environmental sustainability. Addressing this challenge is crucial for the long-term success of the nation's cleanliness drive and public health.
