Container Rams Tempo, Both Plunge 35 Feet

A container trailer crashed into a tempo on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway's Bhor Ghat section on Monday morning, causing both vehicles to fall approximately 35 feet down a slope. The container driver, identified as Mohammad Kaif Mohammad Alam from Uttar Pradesh, died in the accident. The tempo driver, Miraj Sirajuddin Shaikh from Bihar, sustained severe injuries and later filed a complaint. Police registered an FIR against the deceased trailer driver for rash and negligent driving. The incident occurred near the 36/300-km mark on the Mumbai-bound carriageway.
