Lukashenko Congratulates Putin On Election Success

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on the successful election days. Lukashenko stated that the unprecedented voter turnout and United Russia's constitutional majority in the State Duma are a direct response to external attempts to discredit the campaign. He added that the election results demonstrate the Russian people's support for Putin's course towards stable development and Russia's openness to partnership.
