Trichy MP Seeks More Pit Lines, Train Services

Trichy MP Durai Vaiko met Southern Railway GM U Subba Rao to request additional pit lines and locomotive maintenance facilities at Trichy Junction. He also sought new train services, including an Intercity Express between Trichy and Tiruchendur, and an overnight express to Chamarajanagar. Vaiko also proposed developing electric locomotive maintenance at Ponmalai Loco Shed. The MP further requested a stoppage for the Trichy–Mayiladuthurai MEMU Express at Tiruverumbur and a railway overbridge at Keeranur. These proposals aim to enhance rail capacity and connectivity within the Trichy division.

तिरुचि सांसद ने मांगीं और पिट लाइनें, ट्रेन सेवाएं

तिरुचि सांसद दुरई वाइको ने तिरुचि जंक्शन पर अतिरिक्त पिट लाइनों और लोकोमोटिव रखरखाव सुविधाओं के लिए Southern Railway के GM U Subba Rao से मुलाकात की। उन्होंने तिरुचि और तिरुचेंदूर के बीच एक इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस और चामराजनगर के लिए एक रात भर की एक्सप्रेस सहित नई ट्रेन सेवाओं की भी मांग की। वाइको ने पोनमलई लोको शेड में इलेक्ट्रिक लोकोमोटिव के रखरखाव को विकसित करने का भी प्रस्ताव दिया। सांसद ने तिरुचि–मइलादुथुराई MEMU एक्सप्रेस के लिए तिरुवरुंबुर में ठहराव और कीरानूर में एक रेलवे ओवरब्रिज का भी अनुरोध किया। इन प्रस्तावों का उद्देश्य तिरुचि डिवीजन के भीतर रेल क्षमता और कनेक्टिविटी को बढ़ाना है।
