Six Students on Hunger Strike Over Suspension

Six students from Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya in Wardha, Maharashtra, have begun an indefinite hunger strike outside the District Collector's office. They are demanding the revocation of their suspension and the withdrawal of FIRs registered against them. The students were suspended after protesting and locking the administrative building. Despite university administration acknowledging some demands previously, these students faced action. The university has formed an inquiry committee to investigate the matter while the protest continues.

वर्धा, महाराष्ट्र के महात्मा गांधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हिंदी विश्वविद्यालय के छह छात्र जिला कलेक्टर कार्यालय के बाहर अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल पर बैठ गए हैं। वे अपनी निलंबन रद्द करने और अपने खिलाफ दर्ज FIR वापस लेने की मांग कर रहे हैं। छात्रों को प्रशासनिक भवन में ताला लगाने और विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद निलंबित किया गया था। विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन द्वारा पहले कुछ मांगों को स्वीकार करने के बावजूद, छात्रों पर कार्रवाई हुई। विरोध जारी है और विश्वविद्यालय ने मामले की जांच के लिए एक समिति बनाई है।
