Kharge Accuses CEC of Working Under PM Modi's Direction

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of functioning under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Kharge alleged that the Election Commission of India is being used to delete votes of individuals opposed to the BJP. Addressing a symbolic 'public impeachment' event, Kharge stated the opposition seeks to safeguard genuine voters' rights, not protect 'infiltrators'. He emphasized the need for the Election Commission to operate impartially, in line with the Constitution, to maintain public trust.
