A Bengaluru woman lost ₹98,000 while trying to get a refund for a spoiled yogurt packet ordered from Blinkit. After complaining about the spoiled product, she contacted customer service, who then sent her a WhatsApp link. Following the instructions, she uploaded a picture of the packet. Subsequently, she received a call about the refund process and was asked to check her digital payment account. Upon entering her password, her app disappeared, and ₹98,000 was debited from her bank account. She has filed a complaint with the cybercrime police.

बेंगलुरु की एक महिला Blinkit से मंगाई दही की पैकेट खराब निकलने पर ₹98,000 गंवा बैठी। खराब प्रोडक्ट की शिकायत करने के बाद उसने कस्टमर केयर से संपर्क किया, जिसने उसे एक WhatsApp लिंक भेजा। निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए उसने पैकेट की तस्वीर अपलोड की। इसके बाद, उसे रिफंड प्रक्रिया के बारे में एक कॉल आया और अपने डिजिटल पेमेंट अकाउंट की जांच करने को कहा गया। पासवर्ड डालते ही उसका ऐप गायब हो गया और उसके बैंक खाते से ₹98,000 डेबिट हो गए। उसने साइबर क्राइम पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है।
