ABVP Questions Jadavpur University's Permission For Neha Bora's Visit

ABVP Jadavpur University unit has emailed university authorities questioning the permission granted for an event featuring All India Students’ Association national president Neha Bora. The ABVP cited a High Court order and a university circular restricting political leaders on campus. They questioned the grounds for granting permission for the convention titled “Gen-Z movement: Generation and unity of resistance.” Left students’ unions, organizing the event, countered that political figures have previously spoken on campus during right-wing events and differentiated student activists from political leaders.

एबीवीपी की जादवपुर यूनिवर्सिटी इकाई ने विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन को ईमेल भेजकर ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स’ एसोसिएशन की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा के कार्यक्रम की अनुमति पर सवाल उठाए हैं। एबीवीपी ने हाई कोर्ट के एक आदेश और विश्वविद्यालय के एक सर्कुलर का हवाला दिया, जिसमें कैंपस में राजनीतिक नेताओं के प्रवेश पर रोक है। उन्होंने "जेन-जी आंदोलन: प्रतिरोध की पीढ़ी और एकता" नामक सम्मेलन के लिए अनुमति देने के आधार पर सवाल उठाए। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन करने वाले लेफ्ट छात्र संगठनों ने पलटवार करते हुए कहा कि पहले भी दक्षिणपंथी कार्यक्रमों के दौरान कैंपस में राजनीतिक हस्तियां बोल चुकी हैं और उन्होंने छात्र कार्यकर्ताओं को राजनीतिक नेताओं से अलग बताया।
