Gurgaon Sector 57 Residents Approach Rights Panel Over Neglected Civic Amenities

Residents of Gurgaon's Sector 57 have lodged a complaint with the Haryana Human Rights Commission due to the alleged lack of regular sweeping and cleaning of internal roads. They claim basic sanitation has been neglected for nearly two years, despite numerous complaints to the MCG. The RWA president stated that sanitation work stopped after MCG outsourced it to a private agency in December 2024, with only a few workers deployed primarily for the market area.

गुड़गांव के सेक्टर 57 के निवासियों ने आंतरिक सड़कों की नियमित झाड़ू और सफाई की कथित कमी के कारण हरियाणा मानवाधिकार आयोग में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। उनका दावा है कि कई बार MCG से शिकायत करने के बावजूद लगभग दो साल से बुनियादी स्वच्छता की उपेक्षा की जा रही है। RWA अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि दिसंबर 2024 में MCG द्वारा इसे एक निजी एजेंसी को आउटसोर्स करने के बाद स्वच्छता का काम बंद हो गया, जिसमें मुख्य रूप से बाजार क्षेत्र के लिए कुछ ही कर्मचारी तैनात थे।
