India Asks UN Human Rights Office for Pakistan's Response on PoK

India has urged the UN human rights office to seek answers from Pakistan regarding the situation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Anuj Swarup, First Secretary at India's Permanent Mission to the UN, questioned when the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) would issue a report on steps taken by Pakistan. He highlighted previous OHCHR statements calling for investigations into killings, access to legal representation for detained leaders, and lifting internet restrictions in PoK.
