BRICS leaders adopted the New Delhi Declaration, calling for reforms of multilateral institutions like the UN Security Council and condemning terrorism and unilateral acts of war. The declaration also stressed the need for intra-BRICS trade to increasingly use local currencies instead of the US dollar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that the Global South must have equal participation in developing future technologies and their governing rules.

ब्रिक्स नेताओं ने नई दिल्ली घोषणापत्र अपनाया है। इसमें संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद जैसे बहुपक्षीय संस्थानों में सुधार की मांग की गई है और आतंकवाद व एकतरफा युद्ध की निंदा की गई है। घोषणापत्र में ब्रिक्स देशों के बीच व्यापार में अमेरिकी डॉलर की जगह स्थानीय मुद्राओं के इस्तेमाल पर भी जोर दिया गया। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि ग्लोबल साउथ को भविष्य की तकनीकों और उनके नियमों के विकास में बराबर की भागीदारी मिलनी चाहिए।
