Mumbai recorded 12,622 property registrations in September, marking the highest September total in over 14 years and a 5% year-on-year increase. This surge was significantly boosted by the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, which saw a 22% year-on-year rise in registrations during its observance. Despite the high volume of sales, stamp duty collections for the month were ₹1,227 crore, a 5% decrease year-on-year, indicating a shift in the transaction mix. Experts note the continued demand momentum and buyer participation, with a growing emphasis on well-located developments and quality infrastructure.

मुंबई में सितंबर में 12,622 प्रॉपर्टी रजिस्ट्रेशन हुए, जो 14 साल से ज़्यादा समय में सितंबर के लिए सबसे ज़्यादा हैं और पिछले साल के मुकाबले 5% ज़्यादा हैं। गणेश चतुर्थी के त्यौहार की वजह से इस बार बड़ी बढ़ोतरी देखी गई, जिसके दौरान रजिस्ट्रेशन में पिछले साल के मुकाबले 22% की बढ़ोतरी हुई। इतनी ज़्यादा बिक्री के बावजूद, इस महीने स्टाम्प ड्यूटी से ₹1,227 करोड़ का कलेक्शन हुआ, जो पिछले साल के मुकाबले 5% कम है, इससे पता चलता है कि लेन-देन के तरीके बदल रहे हैं। जानकारों का कहना है कि खरीदारों की तरफ से लगातार मांग बनी हुई है और वे अच्छी लोकेशन वाले प्रोजेक्ट्स और क्वालिटी इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर पर ज़्यादा ध्यान दे रहे हैं।
