Techies Rebuild Over 150 Rural Schools in India

Homesick Silicon Valley engineers, driven by a desire to give back, founded One School At A Time (OSAAT). Inspired by a flood-wrecked school in Karnataka, the volunteer-run non-profit has rebuilt over 150 rural government schools across 11 Indian states. OSAAT provides dignified classrooms and learning environments without charging families or paying volunteers, significantly impacting children's confidence and future.

सिलिकॉन वैली के कुछ इंजीनियरों को घर की याद आई और उन्होंने वन स्कूल एट ए टाइम (OSAAT) की शुरुआत की। कर्नाटक में बाढ़ से तबाह हुए एक स्कूल को देखकर उन्हें प्रेरणा मिली। यह संस्था अब तक 11 राज्यों में 150 से ज़्यादा सरकारी स्कूलों को दोबारा बना चुकी है। OSAAT बच्चों के परिवारों से कोई फीस नहीं लेती और न ही वालंटियर्स को पैसे देती है। इससे बच्चों का आत्मविश्वास और भविष्य बेहतर हुआ है।
