IMD Forecasts Rain, Thunderstorms in 17 States; Heatwave in Maharashtra

IMD has predicted rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across numerous states. Delhi and its surrounding areas can expect thunderstorms and winds up to 50 kmph, while southern India might experience gusts of 60 kmph. Meanwhile, isolated parts of Maharashtra's coastal belt are likely to face heatwave conditions. The monsoon is also expected to withdraw from Jharkhand within the next four days, with the state currently showing a 2% rainfall deficit.

IMD ने कई राज्यों में बारिश, गरज, बिजली और तेज हवाओं की भविष्यवाणी की है। दिल्ली और आसपास के इलाकों में 50 किमी प्रति घंटे तक की रफ्तार से आंधी और हवाएं चल सकती हैं, जबकि दक्षिणी भारत में 60 किमी प्रति घंटे तक की रफ्तार से हवाएं चलने की संभावना है। वहीं, महाराष्ट्र के तटीय इलाकों के कुछ हिस्सों में लू की स्थिति बनी रह सकती है। अगले चार दिनों में झारखंड से मानसून की वापसी की भी उम्मीद है, राज्य में वर्तमान में 2% बारिश की कमी देखी जा रही है।
