Tripura DGP Anurag Dhankar Found Dead In Office

Tripura DGP Anurag Dhankar was discovered deceased in his office toilet on Monday. A magisterial inquiry has been initiated to investigate the circumstances of his death. The government observed one day of state mourning for the officer. Additional DGP Goduguluri Srinivasa Rao has taken over as the acting police chief.
