Telangana has successfully flagged off its first consignment of processed groceries from Choutuppal to New Zealand under the Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The agreement, which came into force on October 20, aims to make 100% of Indian export tariff lines duty-free to New Zealand. This initiative is expected to significantly benefit Indian businesses, including Frumar Agri Foods Pvt. Ltd., which exports traditional snacks and rice. The FTA is also anticipated to boost foreign direct investment into India and create local employment opportunities as export volumes increase.
