BJP has criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for requesting a meeting with the Chief Justice of India (CJI) to discuss alleged electoral malpractice. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia stated that constitutional institutions should not be involved in political drama and that merely possessing a copy of the Constitution does not equate to understanding its principles. The CJI reportedly declined the meeting, citing that similar matters are sub judice. Bhatia emphasized the importance of respecting the separation of powers and keeping the judiciary above political disputes.

बीजेपी ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी की मुख्य न्यायाधीश (CJI) से कथित चुनावी कदाचार पर चर्चा के लिए बैठक के अनुरोध की आलोचना की है। बीजेपी प्रवक्ता गौरव भाटिया ने कहा कि संवैधानिक संस्थाओं को राजनीतिक ड्रामे में शामिल नहीं किया जाना चाहिए और सिर्फ संविधान की कॉपी रखने से उसके सिद्धांतों को समझना नहीं आता। सीजेआई ने कथित तौर पर बैठक से इनकार कर दिया, यह कहते हुए कि ऐसे मामले विचाराधीन हैं। भाटिया ने शक्तियों के पृथक्करण का सम्मान करने और न्यायपालिका को राजनीतिक विवादों से ऊपर रखने के महत्व पर जोर दिया।
