Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and the Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMD) have signed an MoU to collaborate on exploring critical minerals in Odisha. This partnership aims to foster research, knowledge exchange, and the adoption of advanced exploration technologies within OMC's mining leases. The collaboration supports the Centre's National Critical Mineral Mission, launched in January 2025, which seeks to reduce import dependence and strengthen domestic mineral value chains.

ओडिशा माइनिंग कॉर्पोरेशन (OMC) और एटॉमिक मिनरल्स डायरेक्टोरेट फॉर एक्सप्लोरेशन एंड रिसर्च (AMD) ने ओडिशा में महत्वपूर्ण खनिजों की खोज के लिए सहयोग करने हेतु एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस साझेदारी का लक्ष्य OMC के खनन पट्टों के भीतर अनुसंधान, ज्ञान के आदान-प्रदान और उन्नत अन्वेषण प्रौद्योगिकियों को अपनाने को बढ़ावा देना है। यह सहयोग जनवरी 2025 में लॉन्च किए गए केंद्र के नेशनल क्रिटिकल मिनरल मिशन का समर्थन करता है, जिसका उद्देश्य आयात पर निर्भरता कम करना और घरेलू खनिज मूल्य श्रृंखलाओं को मजबूत करना है।
