Nashik Kumbh Mela Healthcare Gets ₹260 Crore Boost

Nashik authorities have approved a ₹260 crore healthcare plan for the upcoming Simhastha Maha Kumbh Mela. The plan includes 136 temporary medical facilities, 190 ambulances, and 3,600 additional medical personnel. It aims to increase treatment capacity from 1,305 to 1,945 beds, including 185 ICU beds, and introduce digital disease surveillance. This initiative ensures uninterrupted healthcare services and rapid patient transport for devotees during the large religious gathering.
