Former India batter Mohammad Kaif has criticised India's team combination following their 24-run defeat to West Indies in the fourth T20I. Kaif argued that the management prioritised batting depth over a stronger bowling attack, which failed to contain West Indies' 247/3. He suggested that playing specialist bowlers, even on a good batting wicket, is braver than having batting until number eight. Kaif also questioned leaving out Kuldeep Yadav, believing the spinner could have been a valuable wicket-taking option on the Hyderabad surface. The series is now tied 2-2.
