Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to clarify reports of internal differences. He asked the ECI to publicly disclose the facts to safeguard its credibility, responding to allegations of unilateral decisions by the Chief Election Commissioner. Kumaraswamy stressed the importance of understanding the reasons behind such an atmosphere, rather than focusing solely on political protests. He emphasized that the ECI, a crucial institution for democracy, must uphold its dignity by being transparent with the public.

केंद्रीय मंत्री एचडी कुमारस्वामी ने चुनाव आयोग (ECI) से आंतरिक मतभेदों की खबरों पर स्पष्टीकरण देने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त द्वारा एकतरफा फैसलों के आरोपों पर जवाब देते हुए कहा कि ECI को अपनी विश्वसनीयता बनाए रखने के लिए तथ्यों को सार्वजनिक करना चाहिए। कुमारस्वामी ने कहा कि राजनीतिक विरोध पर अकेले ध्यान केंद्रित करने के बजाय ऐसे माहौल के पीछे के कारणों को समझना महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि लोकतंत्र के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण संस्था के रूप में ECI को जनता के साथ पारदर्शी रहकर अपनी गरिमा बनाए रखनी चाहिए।
