Senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal confirmed the demand, stating the party exclusively desires the finance portfolio. While CM Fadnavis is reportedly positive, the timeline for any decision remains unclear. The Finance Ministry is currently held by the Chief Minister following the death of Ajit Pawar. Bhujbal also dismissed speculation about cabinet reshuffles, emphasizing that such decisions are solely the Chief Minister's prerogative.
