एससीओ शिखर सम्मेलन में भारत के रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने दुशांबे में एक कड़ा संदेश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि जो देश आतंकवादियों को पनाह और पैसा देते हैं, उन्हें बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। सिंह ने जोर देकर कहा कि आतंकवाद सिर्फ खून-खराबा ही नहीं करता, बल्कि किसी देश के विकास, निवेश और व्यापार की संभावनाओं को भी पंगु बना देता है। उन्होंने आतंकवाद के पूरे इकोसिस्टम को खत्म करने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयास का आह्वान किया, जिसमें सिर्फ आतंकवादी ही नहीं, बल्कि उनका समर्थन करने वाले भी निशाने पर हों। पाकिस्तान के विदेश मंत्री की मौजूदगी में की गई उनकी टिप्पणियों ने सीमा पार आतंकवाद पर भारत के लगातार रुख को उजागर किया।
