Matthew Farwell, an ex-cop accused of murdering Sandra Birchmore, faces trial where his personal life has become a key focus. Prosecutors allege Farwell strangled Birchmore after she revealed her pregnancy, staging the scene as a suicide. He allegedly began abusing Birchmore just before his wedding, hours before his third child was born. While some reports identify his wife as Angela, others, including a 2013 police congratulatory post and a family obituary, name her as Michelle.
