International dam safety experts have expressed satisfaction with the quality of work at the Polavaram project, describing progress as "very good." The assessment followed field tests on soil moisture and compaction in Gap-2 of the ECRF dam. Experts examined soil moisture content and strength after compaction, with tests indicating these were within prescribed requirements. The team also inspected the project's material testing laboratory and advised the construction team to continue with their current procedures.
