Sanjukta Parashar First Woman Chief CRPF CoBRA

IPS officer Sanjukta Parashar has been appointed the first woman Inspector General of the CRPF's CoBRA unit, a special jungle warfare commando force. Parashar, a 2006-batch officer from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, will lead the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action. Known as Assam's "Iron Lady," she has a history of leading counterinsurgency operations in Assam. The CoBRA unit was established in 2008-09 to combat Left Wing Extremism and insurgency in several Indian states.

संयुक्ता पराशर CRPF कोबरा की पहली महिला प्रमुख

आईपीएस अधिकारी संयुक्ता पराशर को CRPF की कोबरा यूनिट का पहला महिला इंस्पेक्टर जनरल बनाया गया है। यह यूनिट जंगल युद्ध में माहिर कमांडो फोर्स है। 2006 बैच की अधिकारी पराशर, जो असम-मेघालय कैडर से हैं, अब कमांडो बटालियन फॉर रिजोल्यूट एक्शन का नेतृत्व करेंगी। उन्हें असम की "आयरन लेडी" भी कहा जाता है और उन्होंने असम में कई बार विद्रोह विरोधी अभियानों का नेतृत्व किया है। कोबरा यूनिट की स्थापना 2008-09 में हुई थी।
