Libya's El Sharara Oil Field Output Drops

Oil production at Libya's El Sharara field, one of the country's largest, has decreased by approximately 200,000 barrels per day. Output has fallen to between 100,000 and 105,000 bpd, significantly below its total capacity of around 300,000 bpd. NOC has not provided a specific reason for the reduction. Similar past disruptions have been linked to protests, political issues, and sabotage.
