A routine visit by the Board of Visitors to Daltonganj Central Jail turned into a moment of pride when a young girl, living with her incarcerated mother, recited a poem flawlessly. Acting principal district and sessions judge R K Mishra and other board members were impressed by her performance. The visit also saw inmates seeking legal aid for their cases, with senior lawyer S K Pandey tasked to arrange free assistance.
