Gangotri Dham Gates To Close For Winter

The gates of Gangotri Dham will close for devotees, marking the end of the Char Dham Yatra season. This closure is traditional for the winter months due to heavy snowfall. Following the closure, the idol of Goddess Ganga will be moved to its winter seat in Mukwa village, where prayers will continue for the next six months. This year, an estimated 10 lakh pilgrims are expected to visit Gangotri Dham before the gates shut, a significant number for the shrine.

गंगोत्री धाम के कपाट सर्दियों के लिए बंद होंगे

भक्तों के लिए गंगोत्री धाम के कपाट बंद कर दिए जाएंगे, जिससे चार धाम यात्रा का मौसम समाप्त हो जाएगा। भारी बर्फबारी के कारण सर्दियों के महीनों के लिए यह बंद होना पारंपरिक है। बंद होने के बाद, देवी गंगा की मूर्ति को मुखवा गांव में उनके शीतकालीन आसन पर ले जाया जाएगा, जहां अगले छह महीनों तक प्रार्थना जारी रहेगी। इस साल, कपाट बंद होने से पहले गंगोत्री धाम में लगभग 10 लाख तीर्थयात्रियों के आने की उम्मीद है, जो मंदिर के लिए एक बड़ी संख्या है।
