India has amended the Medical Devices Rules, 2017, to simplify regulatory requirements for outsourced sterilisation. This move aims to standardise testing fees and expedite market access for eligible medical devices. भारत ने मेडिकल डिवाइस रूल्स, 2017 में बदलाव किया है। अब बाहर से स्टेरिलाइज़ेशन कराने के नियम आसान हो गए हैं। इससे टेस्टिंग फीस तय होगी और ज़रूरी मेडिकल डिवाइस बाज़ार में जल्दी आ सकेंगे। यूरोपियन यूनियन को भी सख्त रेगुलेटरी ज्यूरिसडिक्शन की लिस्ट में शामिल किया गया है। यह मेडिकल डिवाइस रेगुलेशन और मैन्युफैक्चरिंग में ग्लोबल स्टैंडर्ड्स को बेहतर बनाने की कोशिश है।
