Fertiliser Stocks At Two-Year High For Rabi Season
Business Standard · business
India's fertiliser inventories have reached a comfortable two-year high of 17.01 million tonnes at the start of the 2026-27 rabi season. This represents a significant 38 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. Stocks of urea, diammonium phosphate (DAP), and NPKS have all seen substantial year-on-year growth. These high inventories are expected to ensure adequate fertiliser availability throughout the upcoming rabi season, meeting projected demand.
