Iran Rules Out Sending Enriched Uranium Abroad, Demands Sanctions Relief

Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei stated that not a single gram of enriched uranium will be exported from the country. He emphasized that Iran's enriched uranium stockpile is a national asset for domestic use. Rezaei also demanded that the United States lift sanctions and threats, and build trust before any negotiations can proceed. He indicated that Iran will not compromise on its right to enrich uranium, which it maintains is for peaceful purposes. The US, however, seeks significant reductions in Iran's enrichment capacity.
