Leopard Attacks Injure 8, Including Pregnant Woman, in Chhattisgarh Villages

Eight people, including a six-month pregnant woman, were injured in two separate leopard attacks in villages along the Dhamtari-Kondagaon districts border belt. The first incident occurred Wednesday night in Karipani village, injuring three people. Hours later, five individuals were attacked in Bastar Budra village early Thursday morning. Forest teams have intensified combing operations and drone surveillance in the affected areas. Residents have been advised to avoid moving alone during early morning and evening hours and not to approach the animal.

धमतरी-कोंडागांव जिलों की सीमावर्ती इलाकों के गांवों में तेंदुए के दो अलग-अलग हमलों में आठ लोग घायल हो गए, जिनमें छह महीने की गर्भवती महिला भी शामिल है। पहली घटना बुधवार रात को करिपानी गांव में हुई, जिसमें तीन लोग घायल हुए। घंटों बाद, गुरुवार तड़के बस्तर बुड्रा गांव में पांच लोगों पर हमला किया गया। वन टीमों ने प्रभावित इलाकों में तलाशी अभियान और ड्रोन निगरानी तेज कर दी है। निवासियों को सुबह जल्दी और शाम के घंटों में अकेले घूमने से बचने और जानवर के पास न जाने की सलाह दी गई है।
