Shreyas Iyer achieved his first T20 International century, scoring an unbeaten 113 off 57 balls to guide India to a comfortable victory against West Indies. He built a crucial 137-run partnership with Ishan Kishan, who played a supportive role. Iyer absorbed early pressure after India lost two wickets and then accelerated, hitting boundaries and sixes effectively. This performance comes after a period where he hadn't crossed 30 in 10 matches, showcasing a significant return to form. India successfully chased the target of 172 runs with 32 balls to spare.
