Russia's Defense Ministry announced the successful launch of a medium-class Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from the Plesetsk spaceport. The launch vehicle was carrying a spacecraft on behalf of the Russian Defense Ministry. This operation was conducted by a combat crew of the Space Troops of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The Plesetsk spaceport is located in the Arkhangelsk Region and serves as the Defense Ministry's state test facility.
